About Us

The Heritage Preservation Society of Putnam County is an affiliate of Indiana Landmarks and has been preserving our past since 1977.

HPS is powered by a volunteer board of directors and partnerships within the county and around Indiana.

By-Laws

A group of board members have suggested changes to the current By-Laws, which will need to be voted on at the annual meeting on March 17, 2022. You can view the current By-Laws, along with the revised By-Laws, and a summary of those changes below. All members are also invited to a reading of the changes, will be held at the Feb. 10, 2022 meeting of the Board of Directors, which is pursuant of the current By-Laws. Both meetings will be held virtually at 7 p.m., but registration is required for entry on Zoom.
